Nevada State Tow Association

NSTA Mission

• The Nevada State Tow Association is a non-profit professional industry association dedicated to representing and advocating for the towing and recovery industry in Nevada.

• The association works to unite members of the towing industry to advance positive legislation, prevent negative legislation, promote safety, improve professional image, encourage ethical conduct, provide professional training, and provide a better positive understanding of our industry to the public and governmental bodies.

NSTA Goals

• Act as the "Voice" of Nevada’s Professional Towing Industry

• Develop and promote cooperative relationships between all members

• Encourage and promote professionalism, ethical conduct and high standards for the industry

• Develop and promote a positive public image for the towing industry

• Actively work with governmental bodies to:

• Promote legislation, rules, and regulations that positively impact the general public and towing industry

• Develop and maintain relationships with the legislature, governmental agencies and association members

• Develop solutions to industry programs

• Work with the state TIM team to improve public safety of all responders

• Create a better understanding of problems incurred and of contributions made by the towing industry

• Promote the economic stability, and profitability of members

• Provide timely Communication and analysis to members regarding legislative and industry issues

• Gather, analyze, publish and disseminate to the industry, government and the public information relevant to the industry

• Develop and promote industry education & training

• Provide employees with the proper training, adequate working conditions, equipment and facilities and supervising standards of safety and work practice

• Legislative advocacy at both local and state government levels - to protect and promote the towing industry. This may be the most important benefit to members

• Strengthening working relationships with the NSP, DMV, NDOT & NTA

• Member education and driver training

• National driver certification testing

• Education topics to include: safety, equipment, management, regulations, pending and current legislation and industry practices

• Networking opportunities through periodic meetings and social events
